About Toby Leary

Toby Leary is a Massachusetts Second Amendment advocate, the host of RapidFire Radio and a co-founder, with Brendon Bricklin, of Cape Gun Works, an indoor shooting range and training center in Hyannis on Cape Cod. Introduced to shooting through the Boy Scouts, Leary ran a woodworking business before turning to firearms full time. He began calling local radio stations to speak up for gun owners after firearm-related news stories, which led to regular on-air segments and eventually his own weekly program, RapidFire Radio, recorded at the range and carried on talk radio and online.

Leary and Bricklin set out to give southeastern Massachusetts a publicly accessible indoor range. After starting in leased space in 2013, Cape Gun Works opened a 15-lane, 20,000-square-foot facility in 2017 that offers defensive shooting courses, including USCCA classes, programs for women and couples, archery, gunsmithing and training for law enforcement. In one of the strictest states in the country for gun owners, Leary has become a familiar voice for lawful ownership and training, and he has been a guest on Riding Shotgun With Charlie and the Daily Gun Show.
