2A Attorneys: The Lawyers Defending the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

Many of the most important gains for gun owners have come through the courts. Attorneys argue Second Amendment cases, file amicus briefs, challenge restrictive laws, advise federally licensed dealers and ranges, and represent individuals after a self-defense incident. Landmark rulings such as District of Columbia v. Heller (2008) and McDonald v. Chicago (2010) depended on this work, and a growing number of attorneys now combine litigation with policy analysis, writing and public education.

Minuteman University.com currently lists 14 attorneys below, including Supreme Court litigators, former NRA leadership, firearms industry counsel, legal policy analysts and attorneys who also teach. Each profile outlines the person’s legal work, organizations and notable cases.
