About Kelly Ann Pidgeon
Kelly Ann Pidgeon is a Pennsylvania firearms instructor and Second Amendment advocate who founded Armed and Feminine, LLC in April 2015 to provide firearms training geared toward women. She is a certified instructor with The Well Armed Woman, an NRA-certified instructor and an ICE certified defensive firearms coach, credentials that reflect a focus on practical, defensive skills for new and experienced shooters alike.
Beyond the range, she has served as Pennsylvania State Director for the DC Project, the nonpartisan initiative founded in 2016 by champion shooter Dianna Muller that brings women gun owners to Washington, D.C., to meet with their members of Congress. In late April 2021 she was part of a twelve-woman DC Project delegation that met with more than 50 policymakers and senior staff over two and a half days, discussing enhanced background checks, the nomination of David Chipman to lead the ATF, gun-free zones and red flag laws. In coverage of that trip she argued that firearms put women on equal footing for personal safety and that restrictive gun laws place a particular burden on women.
