We are especially dedicated to protecting the unalienable right of all citizens to keep and bear arms, for the defense of both self and state, through public enlightenment and legislative action.

We welcome anyone who believes that the defense of our constitutional rights is critical to the longevity of our freedom and to the success of this nation, and in particular that the rights to self defense and to keep and bear the arms to actualize that defense, are fundamental and undeniable.

  • by June (5 months), we would have secured a central meeting location, formed an interim standing committee, elected interim officers, coordinated a number of organizational meetings, opened a Facebook page, built a web-site, created membership forms, written numerous drafts of by-laws, become incorporated, opened a PO Box, open a bank account, and started to look towards long term goals of this organization.

It is not enough for the gun owners of Connecticut to rely solely on national organizations to defend our rights in this State. We have to become a vocal, visible and responsible organization to promote the benefits of firearms ownership to the people who may be indifferent to the rights and responsibilities we have as citizens of a magnificent free society. Please join us and become a supportive member of the Connecticut Citizens Defense League.
