About Liberty Suppressors

Liberty Suppressors is a Georgia suppressor maker founded in 2004 by David Saylors, at a time when only a handful of companies were building commercial silencers in the United States. That makes it one of the longer-running independent names in the American suppressor industry. In June 2014, industry veteran Brent Taylor, formerly of Advanced Armament Corp. (AAC), joined the company, and Liberty became known for designs that cover many calibers with a single suppressor.

Its best-known model, the Mystic X, is a modular suppressor that can handle more than 60 calibers with the right adapters, a strong selling point when every suppressor required its own federal tax stamp and registration. By 2015 the lineup also included the Constitution for 5.56, 5.7 and .22 LR; the compact Chaotic, officially rated for .300 Blackout; the Regulator rimfire can; and the Leonidas, an integrally suppressed .300 Blackout rifle. Liberty also builds the Behemoth, a custom-order .50 BMG suppressor for bolt-action and single-shot rifles, along with later models such as the Centurion and the multi-caliber Cosmic.
