  • largest youth clay target shooting program in the world
  • over 32,000 participants yearly
  • Five students is the minimum number for a team (no maximum number)
  • Each team competes in their own conference with teams of similar team member size
  • one of the largest sports in Minnesota High Schools

Lakeside Guns

2001 – ?

  • 1986 Tippmann Arms Company quit minitures, started paintball
  • 1986 change in gun laws led to entry into the paintball market
  • June 24, 1987 Tippmann Arms Company was purchased
    – by F.J. Vollmer and Company of Plainfield, IL
    – Guns were assembled from existing parts
  • September 13, 2001 Tippmann Arms purchased  from F.J. Vollmer and Company
    – by Eric Graetz of Lakeside Machine in Pound, Wisconsin
    – fan of the Tippmann miniatures
  • Lakeside Guns also made the Razorback
    –  Belt fed .22lr that runs on AR15 lower receiver
