  • 1986 change in gun laws led to entry into the paintball market
  • June 24, 1987 Tippmann Arms Company was purchased
    – by F.J. Vollmer and Company of Plainfield, IL
    – Guns were assembled from existing parts
  • September 13, 2001 Tippmann Arms purchased  from F.J. Vollmer and Company
    – by Eric Graetz of Lakeside Machine in Pound, Wisconsin
    – fan of the Tippmann miniatures
  • Lakeside Guns also made the Razorback
    –  Belt fed .22lr that runs on AR15 lower receiver

  • 1964 supported banning the inexpensive, often low-quality, handguns known as Saturday night specials
    – supported limits on mail-order gun purchases
  • 1968 Gun Control Act

    – wrote in the American Rifleman
